Senior Mechanical Designer

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Designer for a full-time position near Detroit, Michigan.Job DetailsCandidates will be responsible for designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, healthcare, and education projects. Designers will create, influence, and finalize designs involving piping, plumbing chillers, boilers, HVAC ducting, exhaust, and fire protection/sprinkler systems, as well as any other mechanical building systems.Required10+ years of design experienceProficiency in RevitKnowledge of domestic cold and hot water, sanitary, and vent designWork history with International Building Code, NFPA, and ASHRAE standardsExperience with compressed air and medical gas piping designKnowledge of local electrical codes to ensure complianceCompensation$36.00-$48.00 per hour based on experience, before permanent conversion.ScheduleMonday-Friday, flexible on start/end times.
