We are committed to bringing innovation, high and consistent quality, and excellent customer service to our customers and consumers.**We are actively seeking multiple **Material Handlers** to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!**As our Material Handler, youll make an impact by:**Distributing product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, and staging finished product.**Essential Functions*** Supply production lines with correct materials needed for production demands.* Safely and efficiently move materials to and from loading docks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.* Label materials and record their locations within the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory.* Perform cycle counts as required according to schedule.* Solid communication skills required between team members, other shifts and other departments.Must willingly accept any other duties/changes to position to fit the needs for production as requested by Material Handler Lead and/or Supervisor Must willingly accept any other duties/changes to position to fit the needs for production as requested by Material Handler Lead and/or Supervisor Provide support and coverage to all departments as requested by Management.* Maintain a safe and organized work area and practice good housekeeping.* Adhere to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, CDC, GMP and other company safety and environmental policies/guidelines.**Education and Experience*** High School diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 years experience operating material handling equipment (ex: forklift, standing lift, 4D lift, tugger, etc.) Minimum 2 years experience operating material handling equipment (ex: forklift, standing lift, 4D lift, tugger, etc.) At least 1 to 3 years of previous work experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment preferred.**Required Skills/Abilities*** Possess excellent communication and active listening skills.* Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.* Ability to prioritize tasks and keep a detailed schedule.* Able to perform all essential job functions and duties as assigned.**Preferred Skills/Abilities*** Ability to operate an RF scanner* 1 to 5 years of previous work experience in a Food Manufacturing and/or Warehouse environment* Forklift Experience**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday-Friday 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm and 2nd shift 3:30pm 12:00am. These hours are subject to change based upon Company needs. Must have the flexibility to work overtime as needed. Consistent and regular attendance is a required job function.**Retention Bonus: $250 payable after 30 days of employment, $250 after 120 days of employment.***Work Environment**Due to the nature of the work, the employee must be able to adjust to changing priorities, withstand hot temperatures, and work with minimal supervision. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.**Physical Demands**While performing job duties, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.* Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds while using safe lifting practices.* Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.* Must be able to reach, climb in/out of forklift, bend, stoop, sit, stand and grasp.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
