The Position
Our bank client is seeking to fill a Commercial Credit Processor/Operations role in the Baltimore, MD area. The position is responsible for assisting Chief Credit & Risk Officer with daily administrative tasks and special projects as needed and assigned. The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $75K and a benefits package. (This is not a remote position). Commercial Credit Processor/Operations responsibilities include: Safekeeping of all original loan documents for active loans and maintaining the accuracy of the document exception tracking system. Performing quarterly vault audits to ensure that a complete document file exists for each loan. Performing research as necessary to locate any missing original documents or files containing original documents. Ordering appraisals and conducting regular follow-ups with external sources for the status of outstanding reports. Creating and updating ticklers on the loan accounting system for UCC filings and continuations, evidence of insurance, and other documents monitored for outstanding loans. Maintaining all HMDA reportable loan files. Preparing lien releases on collateral and mailing paid notes and release documents to the customer and/or other authorized parties. Retention and safekeeping of all paid/closed loan files and retiring paid-off loans from the document imaging system. Retrieving active collateral files and paid-off loan files as requested by internal customers, auditors, and examiners. Cross-training with and Assisting Loan Documentation Manager with the preparation of closing documents for consumer, conventional mortgage, and unsecured/single-collateral loan packages.
