JOB DESCRIPTION
124 bed pediatric medical center.
Schedule-D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs Will consider 48 hours straight time
NICU is a 68 bed Level IV care facility and treats all neonatal medical and surgical problems, including advanced therapy for cardiac and pulmonary diseases, such as cardiac surgery and ECMO. 24-hour neonatal flight team.
Approximately 1,200 newborns are admitted to the NICU annually. Over 96% of infants survive and are discharged.
QUALIFICATIONSPossesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.Work Experience
Minimum of one yearLicense/Registration/Certification
Current RN License to practice or compact license (if applicable)CPR (by the American Heart Association)BLS, ACLS - American Heart AssociationEducation and Training
