WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Deposit Data Entry & CIF Specialist ensures tax reporting and interest payments for deposits are completed accurately and within bank guidelines. This position ensures Customer Information Files (CIF) and deposit accounts are coded appropriately on the core system and that deposit accounts adhere to compliance and audit guidelines.
Additional Duties:Maintain Customer Information Files (CIF) and deposit accounts via documentation submitted by the front line utilizing basic data entry functions.Process the following reports and tasks on a daily basis: Dormancy, Deceased, Product Changes, Pending Closed, and Interest DroppedAssist the front line through the phone and email queuesBalance Safe Deposit Box Settlement and CD/IRA SettlementManage CD/IRA interest & distribution checksUpdate DDA, CD, and special rates as directed by FinanceHandle year end reporting and complete tax corrections as applicable for interest bearing accounts including Health Savings Accounts and IRAs.WHAT YOU'LL BRINGKnowledge of:
Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsBank policies, procedures, and Federal Regulations (preferred)Jack Henry Xperience system (preferred, not required)Ability to:
Attention to detail to prevent loss to the bankMaintain confidentiality of customer and bank informationWork independentlyMaintain visual attention and mental concentration for extended periods of timePerform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressuresEDUCATION AND TRAINING
Requires High School diplomaPreferred one or more years of related bank or accounting experienceRequires knowledge of Microsoft Office
