Summary

The

Tank Cleaning Technician

will prepare sites for installation of Path equipment by cleaning, loading or unloading equipment and materials, and removing hazards. Field tasks include assembly and disassembly of piping systems, hoses, tank cleaning equipment, power washing, fueling of equipment, utilizing hand tools, small equipment repairs and disassembly of tank hardware. Position entails operation of pressurized equipment, such as pressure washing equipment and bean unit, to aid in the safe successful cleaning of a tank. Work to be performed with potential constant use of respiratory protection (Supplied breathing air, air-purifying Full-face respirator) and chemical resistant suits. Most of the work scope will be performed inside of a confined space while working alongside of a small specialized crew. Maintenance and cleaning of equipment, jobsites, and work areas both in the field and at Path facilities.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform installation and tear down of fluid transfer equipment including, but not limited to, piping, hoses, pumps, and heat exchangers.Assess jobsite preparedness for equipment installation and correct any unsafe conditions.Operate equipment to load and unload materials and equipment as necessary on the jobsite.Maintain an organized inventory of tools and materials and perform auditing of levels for upcoming activities.Ability to stay focused on particular tasks despite being in an active and complex workplace.Manually unspool hoses and secure in place.Connect de-energized utilities to equipment and client infrastructure.Cargo management of onsite and long-haul trucks.Work in appropriate PPE for a variety of areas, including impermeable suits and breathing air apparatus.Remain engaged and providing value to the team despite facing challenging and demanding work conditions and environments.Communicate effectively with all coworkers. This includes active participation in safety discussions for upcoming work activities.Ensures all safety systems are managed and followed by all employees.Decontaminate equipment, tools, and jobsite on a regular basis to uphold professional atmosphere.Engage all coworkers with a positive attitude and strive to improve yourself and your teammates every day.Always maintain a safe and respectful working environment.Provide general labor to support other company workgroups when necessary.Required Qualifications

Two (2) or more years of relevant CSE cleaning experienceVac Truck and Centrifuge experience a plusHigh School diploma or equivalentActive TWIC cardActive and unrestricted Driver's LicenseCDL highly desirableDISA and other applicable background check score of 2 or lessNegative results on all substance abuse testing protocols set forth by company and clientsPhysically able to perform all duties required including lifting 50 poundsPass a job specific physical without restrictionsPosition Skills and Abilities

Shifts are typically 10-12 hours per dayOperations are often 24 hours per day, and all employees must be willing and able to work night shiftsOperations are not always suspended during holidays or emergenciesRequires outdoor work in variety of environmentsTravel requirements are extensive to path project jobsites
