Job Description:
Our client is a full service, multi-discipline, consulting engineering firm specializing in detail design, project and construction management services for the commercial and industrial sectors.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a PE License! You need to have a background in commercial electrical design projects and be familiar with electrical codes and navigating/communicating with building code enforcement officials. Consulting engineering background is a plus. You will be responsible for all electrical project design throughout the firm. There are also opportunities to move into management or into sales/marketing if interested.
Responsibilities include:Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial and commercial purposes.Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.Required:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering DisciplinePE License5+ years of experience
