Mental Health Practitioner - ARMHS Worker
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team at Community University Health Care Center (CUHCC) as an Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) Provider. In this role, you will have the chance to create a significant impact on the lives of adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI). ResponsibilitiesProvide rehabilitative services to individuals with SMI, focusing on skill development, psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, independent living, parenting skills, and community integrationCollaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goalsConduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas of strength and areas for improvementDeliver evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their rehabilitative objectivesMonitor and evaluate clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessaryDocument all services provided, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any relevant client information, in accordance with clinic and state guidelinesWork independently effectively managing time and caseloadsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, case managers, and psychiatrists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clientsAssist clients in arranging crisis assessments, interventions, and stabilization services, when neededProvide individual and group interventions, ensuring weekly client encounter targets are metParticipate in clinical and administrative supervision of cases through individual supervision, weekly team meetings, trainings, and field evaluations of careMeet annual requirements for ongoing mental health training as mandatedMay act as an interpreter for psychiatry, medical, or other mental health outpatient clinic service visitsThis position requires a background check, a negative TB test, and a Hepatitis B vaccination.Qualifications

Required QualificationsBA/BS in psychology, social work, counseling or a related field, plus at least 2 years of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal at least 6 years.Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness or similar populationsPossession of a valid Minnesota driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with insurance coverage to facilitate home and agency visits, as well as transportation of clients as neededFluency in written and spoken English to effectively communicate with clients and team membersProficient in documentation and record-keeping in an electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with clinic and state regulationsLicensure Requirements:Licensure is not required unless you hold a Social Work degree (BA, BA, or MA).A Social Work license (LGS, LGSW, LISW, or LICSW) is required only for candidates who hold a Social Work degree (BA., BS., or MA), per the Minnesota Board of Social Work requirements.
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse individualsDemonstrated ability to create and implement effective treatment plans based on client needsExperience providing community services (i.e. case management)Language proficiency in one of CUHCC's dominant languages (written and spoken) Spanish, Somali, or other cultural groups- Lao or VietnameseExperience working in a community mental health clinic
