Deliver health with care.About the PositionA Medical Surgical Registered Nurse at Lifespan provides care for patients both before and after various medical procedures, manages a broad and complex range of needs, and often times maintains a higher patient case load than other nurses. As a Med/Surg RN with Lifespan, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients with support and education. Due to the nature of the unit, you will need a diverse and extensive knowledge and skill base within nursing care in order to meet the needs of your patients that have a wide variety of medical issues or are recovering from surgery.
