Position Summary:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in the growth and success of our company by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and initiating the sales process. As the initial point of contact for potential clients, the BDR is responsible for creating a positive first impression and building strong relationships with prospects. This position requires a proactive, organized, and results-driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Primary duties and responsibilities:Lead Generation:

Utilize lead generation techniques including cold calling and email outreach identify and engage potential clients.When needed, conduct thorough research to identify key decision-makers and influencers within target companies.Leverage marketing materials, content-crm assets, and sales collateral to effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects.

Qualification:

Conduct conversations with prospects to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives.Determine the prospect's level of interest, authority, timeline, and fit with our products or services.Use qualification criteria to prioritize leads and focus efforts on high-potential opportunities.

Initial Contact and Relationship Building:

Serve as the first point of contact for outbound prospecting efforts.Deliver tailored messages and engage prospects in meaningful conversations to establish rapport and build trust.Actively listen to prospect concerns and objections, address them effectively, and position our offerings as solutions to their problems.

Collaboration:

Work closely with sales team members to coordinate efforts and hand off qualified leads.Updates on lead generation activities and meetings scheduled to ensure alignment across departments, in CRM.Collaborate with sales teams to develop targeted campaigns and messaging strategies that resonate with our target audience.

Pipeline Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and activities in the CRM system.Monitor and track leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of opportunities.Analyze pipeline metrics and KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.

Proven ability to prospect (calls and emails).Ability to persevere in the face of rejection, overcome obstacles, and maintain a positive attitude and high level of motivation in a competitive sales environment.Experience in both phone and email communication.Capacity to listen attentively and respond to build trust and understanding.Self-driven and proactive approach to sales activities, with the ability to set goals, take initiative, and persistently pursue leads to achieve targets and contribute to overall business success.Ability to follow a process to ultimately achieve goals.Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage leads, track interactions, and generate reports for performance analysis.Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite of Products.Excellent ability to enthusiastically share our offerings to potential partners.Ability to work closely with other sales and service team members.Ability to track and communicate schedule.
