In your role, you will:
Prepare patients for proceduresAnalyze laboratory results and medical historyEducate patient and familyInsert IV linesAdminister drugs including procedural sedationMonitor patients patterns and vital signs during proceduresOversee the safety and comfort of patientsAll other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:Education
Graduate of approved nursing program required
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Preferences:
Background procedural sedation, angiography, and special procedures.Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) or Cardiovascular Nursing (CVN) is preferred.Advance level of clinical nursing practice in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, ICU, or ER experience preferred.Skilled in performing circulator duties during invasive procedures.
