Senior Machine Learning Engineer
The Qlik AutoML team is building automated machine learning products that provide advanced analytics and insights to users without a data science background. We own the AutoML product, as well as integrations across the Qlik platform.
You are an effective and compassionate communicator and can present your ideas with humility and mutual respect for the opinions and thoughts of others. You are eager to learn and to share and mentor with the primary goal that the team succeeds.
Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
Design, develop, and optimize machine learning algorithms.Work with frameworks to automate model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and feature engineering.Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to understand user requirements and implement user-friendly solutions.Research and integrate state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.Develop and maintain documentation.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in machine learning.
Skills And Qualifications For This Role Include
Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning or Software Engineer that includes the following:Building production-quality machine learning software.Developing and deploying machine learning models.Programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.Experience with popular machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.Statistical and mathematical concepts related to machine learning.Cloud platforms and distributed computing such as AWS, Google Cloud, etc.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $130,000 – 168,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes, but is not limited to, group medical, dental and vision benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, flexible paid vacation, 10 paid annual company holidays, 9 days of annual paid sick leave (prorated upon hire), up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, and mental and emotional wellbeing benefits.
