Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Job Summary:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our team at HR Employer Solutions Group in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $44 per hour paid weekly. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing essential support to our healthcare team and delivering high-quality care to patients in need of cardiac procedures.Responsibilities:- Prepare and assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including patient prep, positioning, and monitoring during the procedure- Perform imaging tests, such as fluoroscopy and echocardiography, to assist in the visualization of the heart and blood vessels- Operate and maintain various equipment used in the lab, such as cardiac catheters, stents, and defibrillators- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician- Administer medications and IV fluids as directed by the physician- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures- Collaborate with healthcare team members and communicate effectively with patients and their familiesRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology preferred- Active certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCLT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting- Knowledge and experience with various cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment- Basic understanding of anatomy and physiology of the heart and related blood vessels- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Current BLS and ACLS certifications requiredEEOC Statement:HR Employer Solutions Group is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
