Wash Bay Attendant

REPORTS TO:
Regional Operations Manager
SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday 7am-5pm.Some overtime and some weekends required.
WAGES : Hourly. Commensurate with skills and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIESCleans and washes exterior and interior of company vehicles including trucks and trailersVacuum, clean windows, dash, console, and any other part of vehicle or equipment that requires cleaningMonitor operation of cleaning machines and stop machines or notify supervisors when malfunctions occurUse materials such as water, cleaning agents, brushes and clothsKeep wash bay area cleanKeep cleaning supplies in orderly fashionSweep, shovel, or vacuum loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and remove containers from work areasOther tasks as assigned by managerBASIC REQUIREMENTS
Minimum age 18Locals only. Must live within 60 miles of terminalMust be able to work overtime, nights, and weekendsMust be able to operate pressure washer and vacuumsMust be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditionsMust be able to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantlyMust be able to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk and reach above shoulder, and work with hands and arms for long periods of timeMust be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environmentExperience working in a similar job is preferred
