Preconstruction . Holders Preconstruction department has a presence in our Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix and San Jose, and Washington D.C. offices. Opportunities in our Preconstruction Department exist in all these regional locations.Responsibilities:Project Set-Up: Assist in the creation, set up, and maintenance of projects and Subcontractors within SmartBid and collaborate with teams on the development and issuance of Request for Proposals.Subcontractor Outreach: Create and maintain Subcontractor bid lists, engage in proactive review and follow up of prequalification information, distribute Contract Documents to Subcontractors, and quickly respond to Subcontractors throughout the course of the preconstruction phase of the project.Document Control: Receive, review, and upload Contract Documents to various software platforms, QA/QC Contract Documents and communicate discrepancies to the project team, and organize List of Documents to be included in Subcontracts.Risk Compliance: Assist in the collection, organization, review, and ongoing correspondence with Subcontractors on deliverables relative to project insurance requirements.Ensure Subcontractor information and paperwork is accurate and monitor Subcontractor compliance to company and project standards.Contract Administration: Prepare and issue contracts to Subcontractors, maintain Contract Status Logs, and follow up with Subcontractors on timely execution of contracts.Skills:Perform work accurately and completely, in a timely mannerTake initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to daily tasksCapable of working on multiple projects at onceWork independently while collaborating with project teams in order to support project needsGood written and verbal communicationProficient in BlueBeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and demonstrate ability to learn a variety of softwareExperience in the construction industry is not required, but recommended
