Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in our overall Asset Servicing business development and prospect outreach strategy. It is a pivotal position that bridges both Marketing and Sales functions to drive meaningful and strategic new business results. The Sales Development Representative will help generate new business and interest through calling and strategic outreach on inbound leads and support the qualification and acceptance of leads acquired. This role will also help identify target accounts, initiate discovery calls to qualify opportunities and help progress deals.

Responsibilities

Prospecting and lead qualificationDevelop and maintain a quarterly prospecting plan noting progress against success metrics, key accomplishments, obstacles and approach to overcomingEstablish initial contact with prospects through cold-calling/digital outreach or responding to inquiries directly generated from MarketingResearch and present prospect details to key stakeholdersSet up introductory meetings for Sales ExecutivesExplore and develop opportunities via a diligent, consistent and customized communication processMaintain updated prospect profiles in the Client Relationship Management (CRM) systemTrack all prospecting activity and issue call reports within 24 hours of meetings, summarizing discussions and next stepsPartner closely with Account Executives to help move qualified pipeline through the sales cycleCollaborate with Marketing to understand marketing campaigns, content and messaging – providing feedback on lead quality and campaign effectivenessAssist in the tracking and analysis of nurture/drip programs including lead follow-ups, qualification setting and effectiveness of sales account/contact listsMaintain an accurate database of required information about target firms and key contactsTrack and report prospect insights including staff changes, news/announcements as well as prospect activity/engagement logsReport with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results on lead status and conversion ratesKey goals include volume of pipeline generated, follows ups, live discussions, digital outreach, cold calls, etc.Requirements/Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Services (B2B a plus).Demonstrated track record of self-starting, risk-taking, and ability to influence without authorityExcellent organization and communication skillsResults-driven mindset with a focus on meeting/exceeding sales targetsRelationship building and management skillsStrong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights across multiple data sourcesDesired Experience

A degree in Finance, Accounting or business administration or equivalent and relevant work experience2+ years in B2B sales or a related fieldCRM database management experienceWorking With Us
