Information Security Engineer
who will be on-site at the Birmingham location! The candidate should possess a deep understanding of the products and solutions that facilitate the detection, analysis, and response to security threats, ensuring the protection of business operations.

What you'll be doing (duties of this position):
Lead and manage security operations, including the implementation and maintenance of EDR, MDR, and SIEM solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents promptly.Oversee security audits and compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate the impact of security incidents.Provide expertise and guidance on security methodologies, frameworks, and standards such as COBIT, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST.What you'll need to be considered (requirements):
Demonstrated experience in managing security operations and responding to security incidents effectively.Proficiency in EDR, MDR, and SIEM technologies, with a comprehensive understanding of their capabilities and functionalities.Strong knowledge of security audit processes and compliance frameworks.Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.Formal practice experience in one or more security methodologies/frameworks/standards, such as COBIT, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001, or NIST.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
