The ServiceNow Architect plays a critical role in the organization's design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions.
This position requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, IT service management processes, and business requirements to architect solutions that drive efficiency, automation, and innovation.
Responsibilities:
1. Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements and objectives. Develop technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and solution designs for ServiceNow implementations. Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies within the ServiceNow environment. 2. Platform Customization and Configuration:
Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet specific business needs and workflows. Develop ServiceNow components such as workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and integrations. Implement and maintain ServiceNow modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Business Management (ITBM). 3. Integration and Automation:
Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications using APIs, web services, and middleware. Design and implement automated workflows and processes to streamline service delivery and improve operational efficiency. Leverage ServiceNow Orchestration and Automation capabilities to automate repetitive tasks and activities. 4. Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders throughout the ServiceNow implementation lifecycle. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Mentor junior team members and share best practices for ServiceNow development and architecture. 5. Performance Optimization and Scalability:
Identify opportunities to optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of ServiceNow solutions. Conduct performance tuning, load testing, and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance under varying workloads. Implement best practices for ServiceNow instance management, including instance cloning, patching, and upgrades. 6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
Document technical designs, configurations, and implementation details for ServiceNow solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures. Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and training workshops to empower end-users and technical staff with ServiceNow expertise. Qualifications
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred. Proven experience in architecting and implementing ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, Service Portal, and ServiceNow IntegrationHub. Strong understanding of IT service management processes, ITIL framework, and industry best practices. Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies used in ServiceNow development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification. Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting capabilities. Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Graph and CMDB data modeling. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades, patching, and migration strategies
