Job Responsibilities:

Analysis, design, coding, performance tuning, migration of data and implementation of database solutions using PostgreSQL

Evaluation, maintenance, and enhancement of existing processes, stored procedures, and functions, load and performance tuning of existing procedures.

Data analysis, produce ad hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs

Create documentation for applications and processes.

Daily triage of bugs and tasks.

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

4-5+ years working as a database developer working with MySQL/SQL Server/PostgreSQL

1+ years working experience of PostgreSQL is a must

Experience with DB, ETL, and SQL

Expertise in stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

Ability to create normalized/de-normalized database schemas

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Knowledge of Devops and creating / promoting code through CI/CD pipeline

Experience in AWS development like Lambda functions, Python and glue job

Desired:

Experienced in the full System Development Life Cycle (Dev, Test, Prod)

Should be experienced in executing migration projects.

Experienced in Cloud based Database – Dynamo DB

Writing and executing Unix shell scripts

Experience with AWS
