About HightouchHightouch’s mission is to empower everyone to take action on their data. We’ve pioneered the Composable Customer Data Platform (CDP), which helps companies use their own data warehouse to collect, prepare, and activate customer data for marketing personalization and business operations. Traditionally, acting on data has required engineering time and bandwidth, and left most business users stuck with charts and reports that are unable to take automated action on their data. With Hightouch, every business user, without writing any code, can activate data to streamline critical processes, improve marketing performance, and scale operations.
Our team operates with a focus on making a meaningful impact for our customers. We believe in approaching challenges with a first principles thinking mindset, moving quickly and embracing our value of efficient execution, and treating each other with compassion and kindness. We look for team members that are strong communicators, have a growth mindset, and are motivated and persistent in achieving our goals.
Hundreds of companies use Hightouch, including Spotify, Ramp, Retool, NBA, Plaid, and Betterment. We’re based in San Francisco, are remote-friendly, and backed by leading investors such as Amplify Partners, ICONIQ Growth, Bain Capital Ventures, Y-Combinator, and Afore Capital.
About The RoleAs our Product Marketing leader you will ‘move markets’ in our favor. You will be a difference-maker in helping us carve out a differentiated path among a crowded sector of data and marketing technologies. You will lead a team responsible for go-to-market strategy and execution for our Composable CDP platform and all of its component products while partnering with our VP of Marketing, Founders, Product Leadership, and Sales Leadership to define and articulate our product vision and differentiators. They will then express those in high-impact marketing campaigns, marketing assets (most importantly our website), product strategy, and sales enablement.
Are you ready to be at the center of one of the most exciting and disruptive data and marketing technology companies in the world?
You are an outcome-oriented marketing leader with experience navigating competitive markets for complex, high-consideration technology solutions. You're an expert product storyteller who can craft a compelling and thought-provoking narrative for multiple technical products and personas. You are a product marketing expert, a motivating leader, a top-tier communicator, an effective project manager, and able to switch between deep work and rapid execution on a dime.
This is a leadership role in a market, team, and company sense, but will also require regular hands-on work for the foreseeable future in asset creation, analyst interaction, copywriting, sales training, and much more.
If this sounds like you, then onwards!
What You’ll Do
Develop product positioning and messaging for our overall Composable CDP platform and all its component product lines
Plan the themes and campaign tactics for our rolling marketing calendar
Ensure the quality and value of our copy, images, and content across all go-to-market channels
Help produce ‘market-moving’ executive thought leadership and talks
Work closely with our Product organization on product strategy, positioning, packaging, and naming
Work closely with our Sales organization to deliver training as well as build a feedback loop for messaging and other learning
Work closely with our Growth Marketing team on channel-level execution and experiments
Oversee competitive intelligence, analyst relations, and sales enablement from a product marketing perspective
Build relationships with our extensive ecosystem of partners for joint marketing and community initiatives
Demonstrate customer obsession and customer advocacy through a deep knowledge of customer pain points and requirements across personas
Serve as a mentor, leader, or coach to direct reports and peers across the company
What We're Looking For
10+ years of product marketing leadership experience in bringing technical products to market. Marketing Technology domain knowledge is a huge plus
Expert knowledge and experience in building and motivating marketing teams
Process-oriented and data-driven approach to running campaigns and judging their results
Demonstrable track record of turning marketing into a differentiator in highly competitive markets
Experience working closely with ecosystem partners on co-marketing and community initiatives
Demonstrable experience mastering new technical product categories and turning that knowledge into effective market positioning and go-to-market plans
Experience translating product themes into impactful marketing campaigns and coordinating those campaigns across channels and teams (including Sales)
High sense of urgency and ownership for company-level outcomes
Thoughtful and clear communicator, ideally in writing
Demonstrated skill as an opinionated contributor to copywriting and design for both marketing materials and product
We are looking for talented, intellectually curious, and motivated individuals who are interested in tackling the problems above. We focus on impact and potential for growth more than years of experience. The
salary range for this position is $180,000-$250,000 USD per year which is location independent in accordance with our remote-first policy.
