About the team

This role is a part of our Remote Infrastructure Management Team. Review, analyze, develop, install, modify, maintain and/or support major subsystem software components in a large computing environment across multiple production data centers.

What you will be doing

Network Security Engineering

Normalization of any variety of firewall behavior models.

Systems and application availability monitoring and troubleshooting.

BlueCoat Proxy

Strong technical knowledge of BlueCoat Proxy. Policy normalization. Overall functioning of BlueCoat, Configuration and Troubleshooting. To work on upgrades and migration of Firewall Devices.

Configuration and management of Firewalls.

Providing overall security analysis and recommendations.

Security awareness training and assessment.

Network security analysis.

Security auditing and remediation.

Security compliance evaluation and risk management.

Strong technical knowledge of Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower and CheckPoint Firewalls.

To work on upgrades and migration of Firewall Devices.

To shadow the onshore Firewall Engineering team, Incidents, and any other tasks.

Must have JNCIE-Security and or CCIE-Security and PCNSE.

What you bring:

Knowledge of networks technologies (protocols, design concepts, access control)

* Knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.)

* Knowledge of network design and engineering

* Proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organizational skills

* Proficiency in planning, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, priorities, and schedules

* Basic to intermediate decision-making and problem solving skills

* Basic to intermediate verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization

* Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and/or clients
