About the team
This role is a part of our OPF Project - Technical Architect Team.
What you bring:
Requires 9+ experience in J2EE application development, including 3 years as Architect or Associate Architect as an Individual Contributor.Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, ANSI SQL, XML, Struts, Hibernate, EJB.Proficiency in Core Java Language and Web Technologies.Proficiency in solutions design. Successfully architected and designed enterprise software applications or products.Demonstrated experience as application development lead or architect having responsibilities of decision making on architecture and design choices.Ability to mentor, train and coach Associate Architects and Technical Leads.Requires participation in multiple project lifecycles from inception to transition;Requires in-depth knowledge of designing and building applications using Service Oriented Architecture, J2EE security solutions;Requires strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and design patterns. Experience in using UML and Modelling tools (ex. Sparx Enterprise Architect, Rational Software Architect).Experience with BPEL/BPMN2 Workflow Engines and MQ series.
What you will be doing:
Identify, review and present input on project activities and plans.Design, develop, implement and maintain series of programs, subsystem, revision and enhancement of current system.Convey architectural solutions to all levels of professionals and leaders.Ensure compliance with established architecture, design patterns, policies, standards and best practices.Provide technical guidance and support development of systems.Recommend changes on project design concepts to improve efficiency.Develop design specifications, installation instructions and other system-related information.Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability of java system architecture.
