About this role:As a foundational software engineer on our robotics team, you will lead the charge on a variety of projects writing software to schedule and coordinate autonomous hardware in our factory. Examples of possible work include everything from task management of multi-robot systems to building interfaces for loading and unloading parts between machining operations.You will be challenged to think creatively and solve never before seen problems. You will work cross functionally with production experts and machining specialists to develop novel solutions working toward fully automated factories. In this role you will:

Scope, architect, and deploy critical applications that will drive revenue and make a positive impact in the worldImplement seamless software services to interface robots with factory management systemsWrite robust, reliable software to coordinate robots and other machinesIntegrate third party APIs and software libraries into new and existing systemsBuild alongside an incredible team of engineers, operators, and the best machinists/CAM programmers in the worldThis might be a good fit if you:

Have extensive experience shipping modern full-stack applications (our back-ends are Typescript/NextJS and our frontends are React)7+ Years of ExperienceHave tech-lead critical projects or initiativesHave worked on large, complex codebasesAre self-motivated and eager to get hands-on and tackle challenges independently while working collaboratively toward identified objectivesTake responsibility and ownership finding solutions no matter whatDeploy your broad experience and big picture view to fix undreamed of problems with innovative solutionsHave experience writing software that integrates with hardware, like robots and CNC machinesFeel passionate about making things move in the real world with softwareAre excited to work in a fast-paced environment with high-stakes and quick iteration cyclesAre a highly effective communicator when speaking or writing, especially when presenting technical informationCan work from our Los Angeles Factory (Torrance)Compensation and BenefitsFor this role, the target salary range is $190,000 - $275,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.In addition to salary and equity, we offer:
