The network includes more than 20 ambulatory clinics featuring primary care a freestanding Emergency Room Express Clinics and imaging and diagnostic services.Responsibilities:Every day in emergency nursing is different. Youre a multitasker who can react quickly as youll prioritize patients based on their medical necessity while providing emergency triage to others. As part of our ER team, youll partner with an experienced clinical team to deliver stabilizing care to our patients.To thrive as an ER nurse, you should exhibit teamwork, professionalism, critical thinking skills, and a willingness to take on additional projects such as patient experience initiatives. Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient's condition.Engage in other activities that benefit patient outcomes, such as patient experience initiatives, mentoring, etc.
Qualifications:Required Education and ExperienceAssociates Degree in Nursing or Diploma with 5 years of RN experience OR Bachelors of Science in Nursing with 3 years of RN experience
Required Licensure and CertificationsLicensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of TexasBasic Life Support (AHA) with skills demonstrationACLS within 6 monthsPALS within 6 monthsTNCC within 12 monthsCertifications for Nursing Specialty, if applicableNational CertificationDemonstrated competence in a Clinical Nurse II role or meets experience requirements upon hireStrong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
