We are a passionate group of people and live our values in everything we do:Relationships that lastData-driven insightsGrowth-focused mindsetCollaboration-first environmentCulture-consciousRole OverviewThe Senior Accounting Manager position is a hands-on role, responsible for accounting functions for multiple clients that include full-cycle month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and tax compliance. The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the general accounting for clients, assisting with the creation of financial statements and management reporting, managing the organization's cash, and assisting with the creation of departmental budgets and forecasts. Experience with developing and establishing policies and procedures within a corporation is highly preferred. The ideal candidate has worked at or with early-stage start-ups.The position location is flexible/work from home, with preference given to candidates in the following cities where Attivo has an employee presence: Boise, Nashville, New York City, San Diego, San Francisco, and Austin. Candidates in other locations welcome to apply.ResponsibilitiesProduce monthly financial statements and budget vs actual analysisAssist with financial modeling and forecasting for clientsManage Accounts Receivable - which includes invoicing, collections, reviewing contractsManage Accounts Payable - which includes ensuring accurate entry, timely payment, and compliance with company policiesProcess employee onboarding, payroll, and terminationsMentor and train future team membersRequirementsSolid understanding of GAAP, CPA preferredAdvanced+ ExcelExperience with standard software solutions: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, CartaExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesIndependent judgment and decision-makingAbility to manage multiple projects/priorities at a timeProfessional curiosity & creativityPassionate desire to learn & for continuous improvementEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. The starting salary range for Senior Accounting Manager is approximately $130,000 to $150,000 per year plus bonus.BenefitsBenefits for full-time employees include: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (100% coverage for employees on base plan, 70% coverage for additional family members), participation in Flexible Spending Accounts and 401(k), 3 weeks PTO, voluntary Life Insurance & Disability plans, and work-from-home allowance.
