While details may evolve, our goal is to create an environment where innovation thrives, with office-based teams coming together three days a week to collaborate and thrive, together!Job DescriptionYour ImpactResponsible for complete software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, deployment and supportWrite clean, testable, readable, scalable and maintainable Java code that scales and performs well for thousands of customersParticipate actively and contribute to design and development discussionsDevelop solid understanding and be able to explain advanced Cloud Computing and Cloud Security concepts to othersBe able to clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teamsQualificationsYour ExperienceM.S/B.S degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent military experience requiredExperience building web applications using open source frameworks/servers (Java, Spring, Spring-Reactive, Spring Boot, Apache Tomcat)Strong computer science fundamentals (e.g. understanding of lock-free data structures, consistent hashing etc)Experience designing/building scalable REST API and data pipelinesHands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL based databasesFamiliarity with one or more cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes and their technologies (Lambda functions, SNS/SQS etc.)Understanding of microservices-based deployments with the ability to design services and monitoring/tracing of application logs (e.g. Splunk)Good understanding of Cloud Distributed System Design ConceptsHigh energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitudeKeys to SuccessExcellent team player with strong coding, analytical and problem solving skillsHands-on experience with cloud distributed systems and high scale designsDeeper experience with microservices, data stores and production troubleshootingAdditional InformationThe TeamThe Prisma Cloud Security team is responsible for building products that protect data, workloads and infrastructure for some of the largest enterprise customers in the world. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be $150,000/yr.
