Tableau Developer

Infosys is seeking a Tableau Developer . In this role, y ou will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. Y ou will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ or Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locationsAt least 4 years of experience in Information TechnologyAt least 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data warehousing technologiesAt least 3 years of experience data visualization tools such as Tableau for analysis, insight synthesis, data product delivery, and executive presentationAt least 3 years of experience in a Data Visualization, or Data Analyst role, preferably for a financial services or capital markets clients.Strong proficiency with SQL-based languages is required.Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data martsStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle, SQL, Unix shell scriptingU.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.Preferred Qualifications:Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architectureExperience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured DataAt least 2 years of experience with large-scale data technologies such as Hadoop, PySpark or SparkSQLExperience in any other reporting and BI technologies like Microstrategy, Cognos is preferred.Good understanding of Agile software development frameworksExperience in Banking domainStrong communication and Analytical skillsAbility to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teamsExperience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
