Job Summary:

The District Sales Manager is responsible for the sales of the organization's products in a specified district or major geographical area. This position sells the Company's products and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation; in addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products and services.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential Functions:Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS)Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and MissionDevelops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goalsDirects sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordinglyReviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount ratesAdvises dealers and clients concerning sales and advertising techniquesAssigns sales territory to sales representativesAnalyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting salesRepresents company at trade association meetings to promote productDelivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representativesMeets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing dealsCoordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related unitsAnalyzes and controls expenditures of district to conform to budgetary requirementsPrepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansionMonitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competitionRecommends or approves budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development workWorks safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardsRequires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties as assignedEducation and Experience:One year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience required; three or more years of experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferredDriven and results-oriented; business development, KPIs, and market expansion to meet corporate targetsSupervisory Responsibilities:This position directs and manages the Texas First sales team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Travel:Up to 50% travelValid driver's licenseWork Environment:Working conditions are primarily indoors in a professional office environment. Occasionally works outdoors with possible exposure to temperature variations, damp/wet surfaces, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, high noise areas, dust, and unfavorable fumes and vapors. Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
