SUMMARY
The Sales and Marketing Assistant will provide administrative support to the sales and marketing development departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide a variety of administrative support functions in support of Marketing and Sales Development staff including:
Manages team calendar and handles scheduling and preparation for all-team meetings.
Orders meals and promotional items as requested and may run event-related errands (as needed)
Manages vendor invoices, tracks payments and monitors budgets for events.
Tracks and orders marketing and sales supplies
Maintains a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinates creation of new materials as needed.
Maintains comprehensive competitive comparison library for all product categories.
Assists in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns.
May compile, format, and summarize information, graphs, and presentations.
Helps oversee company's social media presence and creates unique ideas to drive engagement.
Supports other general tasks as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Power Point and Excel
Strong writing and communications skills
Ability to work independently and through collaboration and co-creation
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
Highly organized and excellent attention to detail
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field required
Minimum 2 years relevant experience required
Graphic design experience required; Adobe CS Suite preferred
Knowledge of Website CMS (content management system) a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical Demands
Must be able to:
Perform activities including bending, stooping, standing, walking
Stand and walk from two (2) to four (4) hours per day
Climb up and down stairs two (2) to four (4) times per day
Operate common office equipment, i.e. PC, phone, copier, printer, fax
Work in office environment and on occasion in climate-controlled factory
Travel occasionally, by various means of transportation, including car, train, bus, plane
Hours of Work
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (flexible start time)
