The Float Pool CNA will provide essential care to patients across various units within the healthcare facility, adapting to different environments and patient needs with professionalism and ease. This position requires a highly flexible individual who can quickly acclimate to new settings and work effectively as part of a dynamic team. Under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, the nursing assistant performs various duties in the care and treatment of patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the Medical Center.Responsibilities:

Provides direct care to patients in accordance with their individualized care plansAssists patient with activities of daily living, including bathing, oral care, dressing, grooming, and toiletingAssist in transportation and transfer of patients, ensuring comfort and safety during movementMonitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other patient data, reporting any abnormalities or concerns to nursing teamAccuchecks completed as directedAccurate and prompt documentationAssist with patient hygiene and comfort measures, including turning and repositioning patients to prevent pressure ulcersSupport patients with feeding and hydration needs, adhering to dietary restrictions and assisting with mealtime activities. Removing trays in timely manner.Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and promote positive patient outcomesCompletes hourly rounds to assigned patients and anticipates patient needs. Responding promptly to call lights and patient requestsProvide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactionsMaintain a clean and organized patient environment, including changing bed linens, stocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness of patient rooms, and preparing rooms for admissions and transfers.Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staffParticipate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and hospital proceduresQualifications:
