Position Summary

This position is a combination of data, application, and platform development. This role is involved in all stages of the application lifecycle and all areas of development, operational support, as well as architecture design, performance evaluation, code review, UI/UX, and internal tool management. This includes but is not limited to software development, database administration, and server support.Essential Functions

Work with the Product Owner and DevOps leads to develop and execute company plan/strategies for the organization’s custom application and data services and solutions.Designs and develops applications, microservices, features, data systems, and service solutions to solve business problems and opportunities.Provides operational support for organization’s ERP, data and custom application platforms and engages with customers often with technical excellence.Performs full-stack development, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting using multiple application languages, platforms, or technologies.Executes testing procedures to ensure that solutions meet established quality standards.Builds the front-end of applications through appealing visual design using UI/UX design methodologies.Self manages the effort split between operational work and engineering work.Applies solution engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of software.Develops and documents requirements and designs using story cards with user stories and customer input.Manages the end-to-end life cycle to produce software and applications.Manages the complete software development process from conception to deployment through adoption.Works with users to gather voice of customer to design and improve solutions, UI/UX for new and existing applications.Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects. Verifies fixes.Collaborating with the design team on developing micro-services.Partners with the database team to create, modify, optimize, and support databases associated with applications, reports and services built by the DevOps team.Responsible for server optimization, usage, etc used by said applications built by the DevOps team.Develops solutions on all Microsoft platforms, including but not limited to, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, SQL, etc. This also includes developing Power BI reports & dashboards.Education Level

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.Experience

Requires 5+ years of experience in the related area.Candidate will have strong business acumen, able to work in cross-functional teams and Agile / SCRUM experience.Must be able to adapt to changing business needs, learn new coding languages.Requires minimum of 3 years database and SQL experience.Computer Skills

Must be proficient with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Data-verse, Microsoft Power-Platform, Microsoft Azure Technologies (Logic Apps, Data Lake, Storage, Data Factory), SQL (SSIS, SSAS, SSMS, SSRS), Power BI, Function Apps, Data Structure Design & Development, and Python.Familiar with Azure DevOps or other similar enterprise planning and delivery tools.Certificates & Licenses

Valid Driver's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to worksites.Experience in Lean Six Sigma preferred.Additional Requirements

Microsoft based software applications, desktop, and server operating systems. Skills in: Agile/SCRUM, project management, problem solving, troubleshooting, organizing workflow and processes; internal customer service. Ability to: work quickly and efficiently; train, coach, develop; multi-task; communicate effectively with internal customers and vendors; develop good working relationships. Other functions, skills and abilities may also apply. Skills in managing and leading a team preferred.
