We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience working with public cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to support our development and operations teams.Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability and cost-efficiency.
Kubernetes Management:
Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters on GCP and Azure.Implement best practices for Kubernetes cluster security, monitoring, and performance optimization.Develop and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Develop, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.Implement best practices for version control, branching strategies, and code quality checks.Integrate automated testing, security scans, and compliance checks into the CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and other team members.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and application performance.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance requirements in the cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD processes.Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.Ensure data protection, access control, and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of the infrastructure and applications.Analyze and report on system performance, capacity, and incidents.Continuously improve monitoring and alerting processes.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.Extensive experience with GCP and Azure cloud platforms.Proven experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing clusters.Proven experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).Strong understanding of networking, security, and database management in the cloud.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
