About the role:
As an LTL Sales Manager, you will spend your first six months aggressively learning our business and working closely with our sales and leadership team. Upon completion of your training, you will be assigned to lead a team of sales employees, responsible for driving revenue and supporting customer needs with LTL services.

What you'll be doing:
Drive LTL revenue through coaching and developing of new and existing team membersInterview, hire, onboard and train entry-level LTL account representativesAssist account reps with LTL strategies to ensure production targets are metBuild effective relationships across the full-truckload sales organizationEnsure employees maintain the highest level of integrityOccasional travel to meet with LTL account reps, prospects, and customersMonitor sales reports, act as needed and communicate LTL trends and market conditions to senior leadershipAssist in resolving escalated issuesMaintain and develop new strategies to grow accounts
What you need:
Bachelor's degree5+ years of sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 10+3+ years of experience succeeding in LTL SalesStrong negotiation and presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to coach, lead and motivate othersAbility to be on call if needed to support team and customers 24/7/365Capable of providing strong professional references - customer, superior, peer and direct-report
