Position Summary

The ZTTC is responsible for advising and implementing strategies and technologies to deliver Zero Trust Strategy. The technical consultants will provide deep subject matter expertise, offering strategic insights on the implementation of Zero Trust pillars. As the project progresses, the focus will shift to the implementation and execution of the Zero Trust strategy across its pillars and domains. Consultants will support the project in areas including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Endpoint Security, Data Security, Application Security, Compliance and Governance, and the technologies necessary for Zero Trust policy enforcement. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the contract and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the customer.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic direction for the implementation of the Zero Trust framework.Align the Zero Trust framework with customer's business objectives and use cases.Ensure the Zero Trust framework is integrated with the complexities of the customer's existing architecture.Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Zero Trust within the organization.Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine Zero Trust goals and milestones.Identify and address gaps in the current security architecture to align with Zero Trust principles.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Zero Trust framework implementation.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to Zero Trust security.Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.Submit MSRs as required by manager (weekly, monthly, etc.).Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.Complete required compliance training as assigned.Other duties as assigned.Ability to travel to customer site on an as needed basis up to 15%.Qualifications, Knowledge, and Critical Skills

In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust principles and frameworks.Proficiency in integrating security frameworks with complex existing architectures.Proven ability to develop and implement strategic security initiatives.Strong understanding of aligning security frameworks with business objectives and use cases.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and collaboration.Ability to analyze and address gaps in current security architectures.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop actionable roadmaps and strategies.Up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cybersecurity.Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to cybersecurity.Education & Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (master's degree preferred).Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Zero Trust architecture and frameworks.Experience with network security, identity and access management, and endpoint security.Certifications, Licenses

Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.Special Requirements

Work Environment

Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
