What you will be doing
Plans and coordinates all aspects of projects / sprints from initiation through delivery.Owner of defect management process, resolution, and reporting.Manages project initiation activities including managing related contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts and access to existing information as needed.Develops, defines and executes project plans, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Includes managing artifacts, adherence to practices and patterns, change requests, etc.Expected to manage sprint details, assigned tasks, and progress via Jira.Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
What you bring:
Must have 8 -20 years of work experience in information technology within at least 6 years as Project ManagerExtensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelinesKnowledge of the industry project management best practices, i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project applicationKnowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six SigmaKnowledge of financial services industry,company's products and services
