About the team: Risk, Information Security, and Compliance (RISC) Reporting is the reporting and analysis arm of RISC Shared Services, delivering accurate and auditable reports in support of the board, senior management, and the RISC organization. As a Shared Services function, we work on captivating initiatives from enterprise risk management framework to crisis management support. To accomplish this spectrum of reporting, we leverage business intelligence solutions such as on-demand Power BI applications powered by a tabular cube infrastructure. What you will be doing: Ensure that our reporting environment and infrastructure can stay ahead of the growing demand. Review our current SQL database to identify areas for improvement, develop plans, and execute. Accomplish data requests from building out connections to new sources to problem-solving unexpected results. Elevate current SQL databases to support the multi-function requirement of granular research to aggregated archives. Models databases and develops tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and other database objects. Management of SQL Server jobs with development of quality control to identify variances in data Advise and execute on the addition of tables, integration of outside sources, or opportunities for automation based on business requirements. Maintains database dictionaries, monitors overall database standards and procedure What you bring: Bachelor's degree from Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Science Advance SQL database design knowledge with 2 years of practical experience Knowledge of advanced extract, transform and load operations for integrating and normalizing data from disparate sources Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and willingness to learn Added bonus if you have: Experience working with SSAS Tabular models and Power BI Experience with RSA Archer Integrated Risk Management platform Previous industry knowledge or certifications What we offer you: A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities The chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in financial services & technology A work environment built on collaboration, flexibility, inclusion, and respect .
