Fujisan Marketing , a Seattle based digital marketing firm is searching for a

Business Development Representative

to focus on developing new commercial B2B accounts, creating new relationships as well as maintaining and growing existing client relationships.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, with 4 days per week in office and work from home Fridays!

Fujisan Marketing’s office is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.

Compensation:

$65,000 to $80,000 annual base compensation plus commissionsTotal compensation potential up to $175,000 per year

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Representative:

Attain annual new and existing sales goals based on standards set by Fujisan each year.Attend weekly sales meetings and be prepared to bring/share weekly call activity, progress against sales goals, successes and obstacles, key initiatives, client opportunities, and goals for the coming week.Maintain, nurture and grow new client relationships.20 outbound touches per dayMake 3-4 prospect meetings each week to identify new business opportunities with new clients.Develop a pipeline of business equivalent to 3-4 times annual quota through pursuit of inbound leads, networking, referrals and self-generated opportunities.Have an average of no less than 1 “prospect advancement” meeting each week.Enter all existing and new account activity into the CRM within 48 hours & maintain all customer data, sales activity and forecasts in the CRM system.Attend required educational seminars.Be active in 2 community marketing organizations.Attend 2 networking events weekly.Focus on understanding the fit between client needs and firm’s capabilities. Create value propositions that meet the customer's needs.Design and deliver high impact presentations that show our unique differentiators.Create and build relationships with key referral partners.Represent Fujisan at local events and meetings.Gather and share competitive dataMonthly check in calls with existing book of business

What the Successful Business Development Representative will have:

5 or more years of sales experience – professional services a plus.Experience selling to marketers or advertising agenciesDemonstrated record of quota attainment.Successful B2B sales background.Desire to work in an environment that rewards results, loyalty, and maintains high ethical standards.Self-starter able to successfully operate with limited management supervision.Outgoing personality who can develop a network to facilitate growth.Ability to work as part of a team to develop and close accounts.Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and consulting skills.Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
