MUST HAVE A SECRET CLEARANCE FOR THIS POSITION

1. Monitor property disposition on multiple property books.

2. Establish a working relationship with multiple points of contact across CONUS and OCONUS sites.

3. Perform required yearly inventories accounting for all assets on all property books (this requires travel to the various sites).

4. Complete Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL), Form DD200 for any asset reported as “suspected loss”. This requires investigation for each piece, any documentation and any efforts taken to find the asset must be included with the FLIPL.

5. Become proficient in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) as it is the primary system in which property disposition is maintained.

6. Perform required transfer or turn in of equipment in DPAS utilizing required forms (DD1150, DD1348, DD1149).

7. Utilize DISA forms such as DISA299, DISA Property and Pre-Notification and Follow Up, Electronic Movement Form (for movement of assets out of the labs), DISA 788 (Administrative Adjustment Report), DD 419 (Move Request for Transportation and Operations Division), and MP 311 (Interoffice Memo to Request Temporary Storage in Warehouse).

8. Use DLA Form 2500, Certification of Information Technology Disposition, these are required on every asset turned in as excess property, the form confirms that any hard drives have been removed and destroyed.

9. Write Reestablishment of Property Book Accountability Memorandums for assets labeled as suspected loss (and deleted from the system) but later found. In conjunction with this memorandum also write Interoffice Memos which clarify how suspected loss assets were discovered and why they were labeled “suspected loss” in the first place.

10. Follow all DISA specific standard operating procedures in the performance of duties.

11. Update monthly slides for Property Custodian meeting with team lead.

12. Attend monthly training given by DISA APO’s.

13. Complete Weekly Activity Report listing all work completed and submit to Team Lead along with any documents.

14. Attend meetings to track install and de-install projects across DISA sites, receive completion reports and update DPAS as needed.

15. Complete all required DISA and Department of Defense calendar and fiscal year training.
