Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking to hire a Configuration Management Analyst to join our team! This role can sit in either St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Partner with the IT Asset Management team to identify and recommend process and technology automation improvements to current state processes.

• Evaluate and recommend automation solutions to streamline Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data collection, enrichment, and reconciliation processes.

• Evaluate and recommend automated solutions to strengthen internal controls across the IT Asset and Configuration Management Lifecycle.

• Assess existing integrations and identify areas for improvement in support of CMDB accuracy and completeness.

• Supports the development and maturation of CMDB policy, procedures, knowledge base, and governance frameworks to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Develop KPIs and supporting dashboards to monitor the completeness and accuracy of data within CMDB.

• Advise government on enhancements to Service+ to mitigate technical debt

Minimum Qualifications

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

• In-depth knowledge of the ITIL framework and its application to configuration management processes.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, technologies, and dependencies

• 3 to 5 years working experience with the ServiceNow platform

• 3+ years working in configuration management and maintaining a CMDB

• Working knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)

An active TS/SCI level clearance is needed at time of hire.
