Overview : Warrior Insurance Network is on the hunt for an experienced and dynamic Senior DevOps Engineer to expand our technological horizons. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a crucial role in bridging operations and development, streamlining our project lifecycles, and enhancing our infrastructure.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the development and implementation of scalable, secure, and robust DevOps solutionsCollaborate with development teams to automate and optimize continuous delivery pipelinesDesign and manage cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability and performanceImplement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolutionDrive containerization and orchestration efforts, using tools like Docker and KubernetesDevelop and enforce best practices for version control, configuration management, and documentationWork closely with security teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and practicesAssist in the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies, keeping our processes at the cutting edgeProvide mentorship and guidance to Dev team members
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar roleStrong background in Linux/Unix and Windows administrationExpertise in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), including infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket, CircleCI).Knowledge of container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)Solid understanding of network architecture and security principlesExcellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experienceInsurance industry experience is a plus, but not required
