Job summary: We are seeking a Program Manager with a strong background in Business Associate roles, possessing 11 to 12 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CICS, z/OS Unix administration, z/OS, and Mainframe environments. This role is pivotal in driving our technology programs to success, ensuring operational excellence and aligning with our strategic objectives.
Experience: 11 to 12 Yrs Required Skills: CICS, z/OS, z/OS UNIX administration, Mainframe CICS Shift: Day
Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the planning and implementation of projects within the mainframe domain, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals. - Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. - Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. - Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. - Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. - Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. - Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company. - Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during the project cycle. - Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. - Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. - Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. - Track project milestones and deliverables. - Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Qualifications: - Must have a deep understanding of CICS, z/OS Unix administration, z/OS, and Mainframe environments. - Proven ability to manage large scale projects and lead cross-functional teams. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for stakeholder engagement. - Ability to delegate tasks effectively and monitor the progress of various project components. - Experience in budget management and resource allocation to meet project goals. - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve project issues. - A proactive approach to project management, with the ability to anticipate potential challenges and devise effective solutions.
