POSITION:
Investment Banking Vice President (or Senior Associate) in Jefferies Boston Office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Jefferies is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President (or Senior Associate) to lead transactions in a highly active capital markets environment – this team executes the full suite of investment banking services including M&A (predominately sell-side), debt financings utilizing Jefferies committed syndicated and direct lending capabilities, and equity capital markets transactions including IPOs, follow-on and growth raises. This is an exceptionally active group executing a high volume of private equity-linked deals. Lead sell-side M&A execution experience is a must. The Boston office houses approximately 50 people and this team consists of ~20 bankers focused on consumer, retail, business services, distribution, and technology transactions related to the automotive aftermarket.
Required Experience/Skills:
Strong sell-side M&A experience
Desire to lead transactions
Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple parties
Manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Developed knowledge of private equity market
Preparation of pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations and prospectuses
Expert financial modeling and business analysis
Bachelor’s degree (MBA is a plus) from an accredited college or university AND 5+ years of Investment Banking experienceDesire to live and work in Boston
The salary range for this role is $225,000 - $275,000.
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications. In addition to salary, Jefferies offers, for eligible employees, an annual discretionary incentive and retention bonus, competitive employee benefits, including: medical, dental & vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, and disability insurance; and wellness programs.
