MQ AdministratorQuick description of the role or project story (What this role will be doing):
MQ Administrator, IBM MQ, is responsible for managing and maintaining the messaging infrastructure within an organization.Responsibilities include:
Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IBM MQ and related middleware.Ensuring high availability and reliability of the MQ services.Providing technical support and input into the design of MQ-related projects.Monitoring MQ systems to ensure secure and efficient operation.Implementing and maintaining MQ queue managers and other related software.Collaborating with other IT teams for infrastructure design and service management.Developing and managing systems on a global scale, particularly in environments that require uninterrupted service.The role may also require experience with Linux/Unix systems, knowledge of server hardware, networking, and possibly programming skills for integrating MQ with other applications.What are the top "must have" skill sets (technical/functional).
3 to 5 years of experience as an MQ Admin in a large enterprise environmentExperience working with Windows, Z /OS, Linux
