Job Summary:
The Principal Cybersecurity Architect plays a critical role within our Cybersecurity Business Unit, responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing complex cybersecurity architecture for our clients. As a highly skilled and experienced professional, you will be the senior cybersecurity architect aligned with leaders from client organizations and will coordinate with multiple internal teams during a cybersecurity engagement, including risk/compliance, identity, architecture and infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and cybersecurity operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our clients can meet their specific cybersecurity requirements and address their unique challenges. Overall, your role will be instrumental in driving excellence in service delivery, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth and success of our services organization. This position is remote with a Home Office setup as determined by Stratascale management. Responsibilities: Develop, define, and document the security architecture and strategy for client engagements Coordinate with other leaders in the cybersecurity organization to conduct security risk assessments and threat modeling, and provide recommendations and mitigation strategies Design and implement security solutions using various technologies and tools, such as cloud, network, endpoint, identity and access management, encryption, etc. Review and validate the security architecture and configuration of existing systems and applications Collaborate with stakeholders and teams across the organization to ensure alignment and integration of security requirements and solutions Research and evaluate emerging security trends and technologies, and provide recommendations and guidance for adoption Lead and mentor junior architects and engineers, and foster a culture of teamwork leading to excellence in security outcomes for our clients Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience At least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years of experience in security architecture Strong knowledge and experience in various security domains, such as cloud, network, endpoint, identity and access management, encryption, etc. Proficient in security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, CIS, etc. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and across different levels of the organization Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, etc. are preferred Required Skills:
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, building strong relationships and gaining trust. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities and develop effective strategies and solutions. Client-focused mindset, able to understand client needs, provide expert guidance, and deliver high-quality cybersecurity services that align with their business objectives and regulatory requirements. Proactive approach to staying updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Certifications Required: Preferred: - CISSP, TOGAF, ITIL, CISM, etc. Additional Information:
This position's estimated annual pay range is $210,000 - $300,000, including a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
