COMPENSATION:

$95k - $115k/year (DOE)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage product assortment, innovation, renovation, and pricing for assigned key strategic product platforms, Hot Case and Individually Wrapped across all channels Ruiz Foodservice competes.Analyze consumer, market, & retailer trends via scan and shipment data, consumer research, and secondary sources to find key insights and translate analysis into strategic business decisions.Provide recurring, deep-dive quarterly business reviews and ad hoc analytical support.Make frequent recommendations and/or decisions related to product portfolio, pricing, promotions, strategic partnerships, and other key initiatives that will drive business growth.Demonstrate team leadership and project management, working with R&D, supply chain, finance, sales to drive positive business results.Manage the P&L for assigned product platforms, innovation, and initiatives to meet financial goals.Lead planning and execution for two annual strategic industry events - NACS and c-store foodservice forum.Manage all event aspects including booth design, confirming Ruiz TM attendees, event registration, booking hotel rooms, vendor contract negotiations, obtaining legal and Commercial leadership contract approval, coordinating meeting space, coordinating transportation, booking AV, planning dinners and Team Building activities, and coordinating Ruiz product sampling.Lead creation and delivery of effective sell stories and marketing materials to gain strong retailer support and product distribution using relevant category and consumer data.Assist in development and execution of marketing strategy and plans for prioritized business segments, product platforms and innovation.Assist in executing marketing communications including brand campaigns, traditional trade media, digital media.Work with outside agencies assigned to the business to deliver exceptional results (e.g., media, packaging graphics, etc.)Support marketing leadership in building brand plans, guiding the organization's thinking, driving change and action to improve sales, profitability, and long-term viability.Demonstrate the leadership and strategic thinking needed for both the current position and a future position as a Brand ManagerREQUIREMENTS:

BS, BA (Business or Marketing degree preferred); MBA preferred.Knowledge and experience of Foodservice industry preferred including Restaurants, Convenience Stores and Non-Commercial (e.g., Colleges & Universities, Vending/Micro-Markets) business segments.Strong leadership, bias for action, and communication skillsProven project management skills3+ years' experience in Marketing; Foodservice Marketing preferred.
