Job Description:
Do you want to be at the forefront of delivering Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) across the DoD? Parsons is currently seeking a talented and experienced Requirements Analyst / Manager to join our team to provide direct support to the Space Force in CO. As a crucial member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in gathering, analyzing, and managing requirements to ensure the successful design, implementation, and maintenance of OPIR systems that provide essential intelligence and surveillance capabilities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with operational needs and project objectives.
Develop and maintain comprehensive requirements documentation including requirements traceability metrics, system specifications, System Requirements Document (SRD), Doors database, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM).
Manages changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
Develop and execute plans to validate and verify requirements, ensuring they meet technical standards and operational needs.
Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, validation processes, and outcomes.
Leverage Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies throughout the systems engineering lifecycle to model and simulate system architectures, requirements, and interfaces.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to OPIR systems, requirements management and recommend improvements.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
An Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analysis, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in systems engineering, requirements analysis, or requirements management roles
Proficiency in using requirements management software (e.g. DOORS, JIRA, JAMA, etc.)
Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools for modeling complex systems throughout the systems engineering lifecycle
Experience using agile framework development methods and processes
Broad systems engineering experience including early concept development, requirements analysis, design, test and evaluation, and risk assessment
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong critical thinking skills
Ability to interact effectively with and lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams, including industry and government sponsors
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience working within Space Systems Command
4+ years of OPIR experience
Advanced degree in systems engineering
Relevant OMG or other systems engineering certifications (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP)
Experience integrating models across multiple software applications to perform detailed analysis by leveraging data from several engineering domains
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Top Secret

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
