AMG Specialty Hospital- Lafayette is seeking PRN Respiratory Therapist forNight Shifts.
Someof the medical conditions that are commonly treated include but are not limitedto; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap,cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on the complexity of these patients, theycan require sedation/pain management, pressor management, andcardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicated infections requiring long-termIV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatmentwith wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RN's will be responsiblefor direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate aboutchanges in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studiesand symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes incondition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to performgeneral nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Job RequirementsCompletion of an approved respiratory care programActive Louisiana Respiratory Therapist License.Current BLS certification.Current ACLS certificationMinimum of one to three years of related work experience.Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
