Overview Plastic Surgery ASC looking for an experienced RN. Monday-Friday scheduled in Bethesda, MD Duties to Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU. Looking for RN with L&D, ICU, ER, ICU, or Cath Lab experience. Summary: Fast Paced Plastic Surgery office with certified surgery center located in Bethesda, MD is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse. Responsibilities will include working in areas of Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU. Plastic Surgery, PACU, and OR experience is preferred. Experience in L&D, ICU, ER, ICU, Cath Lab is a benefit. Full-time Day position from 6:30 am to 3 pm. Competitive salary and benefits. All applicants must hold a current Maryland State Nursing License. Responsibilities Responsibilities : Pre-Op patients for surgery. Vital Signs. Explaining Post-Op instructions to patients. Placing of IV cannulas. Positioning of patents for surgery. Re-positioning as needed for the case. Prepping patients for surgery. Assisting with DR's and other OR staff during surgery. Administering IV medications. Conducting counts in OR during surgery, as needed. Transporting patients from OR to PACU. Recovering surgical patients in PACU Discharging surgical patients. Cleaning of Surgical Suite. EMR charting & paper charting. Qualifications Education: 2yr RN or 4yr BSN are both acceptable. ONLY RN's. BLS & ACLS is required. Skills: Time management. Keeping to the OR on schedule. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks as time and schedule constraints change. IV skills are preferred, but not mandatory. Knowledge of "sterile technique" preferred. How to prepare a "sterile field" preferred. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with all staff members. Open to new ideas and new training. #INDJOS
