Job Purpose
Universal Parking is hiring a Director of Business Development in the Charlotte area. In this position, you are responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities throughout our markets, primarily in Charlotte. The Director of Business Development travels throughout the territory generating leads and presenting business solutions to potential clients. This role collaborates with multiple business partners to identify target opportunities, give detailed sales presentations, and facilitate the signing of agreements. The ideal candidate can interact effectively with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally, to analyze, develop, and close sales opportunities.

What Youll Do:
Manage the business development process for your area of focus
Identify and target potential clients that meet the standards and needs for a parking program
Identify existing programs looking to improve current parking programs
Identify current parking programs that are managed in-house, or by another parking management company, as takeover programs
Work collaboratively with the VP of Business Development and other business partners to develop new business development strategy
Assist with the preparation of detailed proposals
Travel throughout the region to meet with potential clients
Give detailed sales presentations to healthcare executives and other personnel
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required
Preferred 3 years experience in sales or parking management industry
Must have familiarity with sales programs
Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
