As one of our engineers, you will be responsible for network services in our US Government facilities, but also part of a broader team supporting services globally. You will lead on projects, network deployment, support and service improvements around our continued growth in this critical part of the world.Core Responsibilities
Support the networking needs of our US Government and global facilitiesLearn to deploy, maintain and scale network infrastructure with minimal downtime and help create solutions to complex technical challengesBe responsible for maintaining documentation and datasets used to support the networkCollaborate with fellow engineers across multiple time zonesFacilitate feedback from end-users and provide network infrastructure related assistanceTroubleshoot operational issues in the infrastructure, including vendor escalationWhat We Value
Ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervisionAbility to identify, explain and resolve issues in a production network environmentA solid foundational understanding of the OSI Layers from physical to applicationExperience with Palo Alto Networks or similar NGFW technologyExperience with Cisco ISE or similar NAC technologyExperience with layer 2 protocols (e.g. LACP, MLAG, Spanning Tree, etc.) and routing protocols such as BGP or OSPFExperience with Wireless Networking (deployment and troubleshooting)Experience with public cloud service providers (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.) and VPN technology (GRE, IPSec/SSL VPNs)What We Require
